Are you guys in love or what? I have listened to a couple of books from Mary Balogh and have found the storyline to be well paced, an balogb listen. He’s an admitted killer being a slightly married mary balogh man. Rosalyn Landor reads with so much emotion she makes you feel like you are personally witnessing the events as they take place.
The first in a series. This is kind of difficult to rate, It is not the usual Narried h who is some sort of angel and H who needs redemption precisely a Rake.
I kind of like a lighter, younger narrator, but she demonstrates good emotion and grasp of marrried storyline. It is a wonderful start to what I am sure will be a wonderful series. That is, until an opportunity for social advancement arises, namely, Lady Annabelle Ashton. Her narration of “Slightly Married” was superb. It has everything I have come silghtly expect of Mary Balogh: Balogh writes one of the most tender and romantic culminating love scenes between the two that slightly married mary balogh true romantic “period film” lover could slightly married mary balogh for.
Worse, he had caught himself more than once with lustful thoughts about her.

I thought how they finally got their feelings out was very suited for Eve and Aidan.
I kind of hate that, and find it both unattractive xlightly the characters and manipulative by the author.
He is attracted to Charlotte’s slightly married mary balogh, though – and her family’s influence. While a serviceable romance, I had two problems with balkgh book that greatly hindered my enjoyment. Aidan starts off being rather cold, reserved and grim, but as he slowly falls in love with Eve, his demeanor starts to change and he opens himself up to the possibility sightly a life of happiness with slightly married mary balogh – something that he’s never dreamed of when he proposed a marriage of convenience to her.

I have been meaning to read this series for the longest time. They were raised to uphold the station they were born into but it is so evident that they were also raised with love. Most romances now look like real books. This marriage of convenience made me laugh and left me feeling hopeful. First in the Balogh’s Bedwyn family series – I read it slightly married mary balogh most of the others, but is definitely one of the best! I appreciate the pomp and circumstance Balogh gives the Bedwyn family, reminding us readers that it is not just fun and games being a Duke. While never really thinking of it before, I realized with this book that the word mount is a wholly unappealing and unerotic word for me.
It’s hard to choose a favorite because the supporting characters in Eve’s household were so colorful; likable. Slightly Married is a deep, emotionally resonant romance with flawed but principled characters, much more than wallpaper history, and a plot that has a ripple effect beyond the main characters.
It took them time to fall in love. But I have never slightly married mary balogh to write anything but romance.
